Ohm 518 community calendar

OHM’s mission is to facilitate and nurture connections with electronic music, electronic arts, and the vibrant creative energy that exists throughout the region. Too often, we are at the whims of the social media overlords who decide what is presented to us. It’s a challenge to stay up to date with what’s going on, and let’s be honest, we’re all better off experiencing more IRL events and less doomscrolling

With that in mind, we are incredibly excited to share our community calendar at ohm518.com/calendar with all of you. The calendar is meant to grow into a one-stop online hub where you, community members, artists, and organizers alike can stay in sync with local events, share and promote what you are creating, and build a supportive electronic music and arts community together

Here’s how it works:

First, go to OHM518 . com 1. Once you arrive at our home page, click on the calendar button in the top left corner.2. Under upcoming events, you can find our navigation bar with options to search by date, location (desktop only), or OHM presented events.3. Select the “Submit an event” button to add an event of your own.4. On the submission page, add your event’s flyer, location, date etc, and submit for approval.5. Don’t forget to click the donate button if you appreciate our work and want to help support our mission.

As a community-centered service, anyone can submit new events to the calendar. All submissions must be electronic music or digital arts-focused. The OHM team will review community event submissions before they appear on the calendar to ensure relevance and basic quality control. We will not allow visibly AI-generated flyer art on the calendar, as we like to emphasize and facilitate real experiences with real people and support artists.
