You can also ask the bot questions. It replies using an open-source language model through OpenRouter, giving you quick answers while keeping our infrastructure simple and affordable
AI, with a healthy dose of skepticism
We’ve been nerds for a long time. We’ve worked with machine learning, data science, and open-source software well before the current AI hype cycle
That doesn’t mean we believe every AI feature belongs in every product
Modern AI comes with real concerns: environmental costs, misinformation, privacy questions, and a growing tendency for people to rely on generated content instead of their own creativity
Still, millions of people already use AI to answer questions every day. Answering questions consumes only a tiny fraction of the energy required to train these massive models, so we felt it was reasonable to offer a simple assistant where it actually helps
Our philosophy is straightforward: use AI where it’s practical, not where it’s distracting

Soon, we’ll slowly and carefully add more features that let you interact with your storefront directly from WhatsApp. Think simple, practical tools that save time without adding unnecessary complexity like updating customer orders or drafting content

Our operating costs for these basic features are currently very low, so we expect to keep the simple functionality free for everyone

What you won’t find
One thing you probably won’t see us adding is AI image or AI video generation
There are already plenty of excellent services dedicated to that. We’d rather stay focused on helping creators run their communities and businesses than becoming yet another AI image generator
If you need stock photography, there are fantastic free resources available. In fact, Markkët already integrates searches from Unsplash and Pexels, making it easy to find high-quality, royalty-free images for your pages
And if you need to edit photos? Learning a simple image editor is a valuable skill that takes less time than many people think
Have fun and trust your own judgment
The bot is happy to answer practical questions, and it’ll even entertain the occasional silly conversation
But remember: it’s a tool, not an authority
Like any AI assistant, it can make mistakes. Use it to save time, spark ideas, or answer simple questions, but keep thinking for yourself
